Taking his own work as a kind of extreme atheism, Blanchot did not deny his closeness
to religion in its marginal versions. Analysing his heritage and being a representative of
the “theological turn” in phenomenology, Kevin Hart evaluates this proximity indicating
similarities and differences of Blanchot’s and religious experience.
