Based  on  the  analysis  of  the  books  by  N.  Lossky,  L.  Shestov  and  N.  Berdyaev,  the
author of the paper suggests a hypothesis that the main principle of F. Dostoyevsky’s
philosophical worldview is an idea about the existence of people, “higher personalities”.
It is shown that N. Lossky’s interpretation is based on the fact that Dostoyevsky is a
strictly Orthodox writer. The author proves that, according to L. Shestov, Dostoyevsky’s
beliefs transformed from “humanism” into resistance to moral idealism and acceptance of the position of an “underground person”. The author analyses N. Berdyaev’s masterpiece “Doestoevsky’s  World-View”,  which  explains  Dostoyevsky’s  religious  ideas  more
comprehensively.
Key words: F. Dostoyevsky, N. Lossky, L. Shestov, N. Berdyaev.
