The article is devoted to the topical issues of vocal pedagogy in the system of higher
musical and pedagogical education. The authors consider the main directions of teaching in the class of solo singing in connection with the requirements for a modern professional
singer. The focus is on the main sections of teaching academic vocal art, relating to voice production, singing techniques, stage embodiment of the image, interpretation, vocal
and performing culture, creative individuality, reecting various aspects of pedagogical
work, focused on the development of professional singing qualities and acquisition of
vocal school.
