The article reveals the importance of the integration of painting study as the leading
discipline in the system of art education and students training at degree-granting
departments of educational institutions of traditional applied art. The author describes
the features of practical use of the theoretical base, application of expressive means of
đne arts and various methods of work, technical and technological features of painting
directed at professional growth of students.
