The article describes the structure and crises of cadets’ professional adaptation to higher
education at military institutes of the National Guard Forces Command of the Russian Federation, as well as psychological and pedagogical support of this process. The relevance of this problem is due to the diversity and complexity of cadets’ activities, as well as speciĥc conditions of their professional adaptation. The author examines the features of this process and highlights the basic levels of adaptation, criteria and indicators of the process.
