Considering social processes as dynamic phenomena, the author of the paper reveals
the causes for their occurrence and the essential content. The latter is realised through
the analysis of the theoretical material presented in the works of philosophers and
sociologists. The signifi cant aspect that distinguishes this material among similar works
is that the issue is explored through the system of topical socioeconomic problems that
objectively refl ect the most signifi cant aspects of life of a particular society.
