The article examines the pedagogical ideas of the Bauhaus school in students’ creative
activity. In particular, the author compares the specifics of the pedagogical programmes
at Bauhaus and the European educational system of the Bologna Process. The author
comes to the conclusion that the integration of the Bologna system into the Russian
education process allows future design students to first obtain basic knowledge and skills
in art, and then to explore and solve social and economic problems in the conditions of
the development of modern society.
