The article discusses the role of a workbook in forming the competence of undergraduate students of the “Health and Safety” profile at pedagogical universities. The author describes the structure of the workbook for the “Human Safety in Emergency Situations” discipline, analyses its elements, and considers the special aspects of students’ work with it. The use of this study tool is proved to be efficient in the education process.
