MICROLEARNING AS A NEW EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

 The article considers a new educational technology – microlearning – as one of the
possible tools of adaptation to the modern educational environment conditions. The
author defines the term “microlearning” and considers factors of the emergence of this
educational technology as a result of the transition from a culture of deep attention
to a culture of hyper-attention. The main features of microlearning and the prospects
for its introduction into the educational process in higher educational institutions are
formulated.
