Yan Meiping
Price: 50 руб.
The article explores three literary works – “Ward No. 6”, “Cancer Ward” and “Chapayev and Void”, all of which are characterized by the central idea of a hospital ward. By comparing these works with the underlying theme, one can fi nd the similarities and differences in the creative methods of their authors. However, the main idea of all three
authors lies in demonstrating the rational action by a person viewed as a madman by the society, which is driven by irrational attitudes.
Keywords: hospital ward, mad society, disease, postmodernism.
