The author of the paper studies the curriculum of the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg
State Conservatory, compares it with the vocal music disciplines introduced in China,
notes the need for orientation at comprehensiveness, fundamentality, and continuity of
vocal music disciplines in the two countries, and describes the existing differences in the
concrete application of studying and performing practices and in other directions.
