The article is focused on René Lalique who was one of the most significant jewelers in the age of Art Nouveau. Lalique, as many of his contemporaries, was fascinated
by the culture of Ancient Egypt. This interest found its expression in his art works. The author focuses on Lalique’s pieces of jewelry which represent excellent examples of the Egyptian style in jewelry art.
