 The article explores another interesting page of modern concertmastership of Kazakhstan. For the first time it reviews the pedagogic and performing legacy of N.Ya. Bayahunova, famous ensemblist, an outstanding artist on the national musical scene in the second half of the twentieth century. Fruitful professional activity of the
pianist-accompanist and teacher-educator made the most profound contribution to the development of the domestic chamber performance and played a significant role in the establishment of the concertmastership in Kazakhstan.
