Holographic Collimator Sight with Focusing Grating

 The given article describes the principal scheme of an aiming sight based on a multifunctional holographic optical element — a relief-phase refl ection holographic grating on a concave spherical surface. The optimized carrier spatial frequencies for the grating and the hologram forming the fi xed reticle are formulated. The results of tests of a laboratory prototype are presented. Transmission effi ciency exceeding 85% in the visible spectrum has been measured for the reticle observation path.
