The interrelation of motivation and self-esteem of 2nd- and 4th-year pedagogical students

 The article discusses the dynamics and interrelation of learning motivation and selfesteem of students of pedagogical specialities in the period of mastering educational academic and professional activities. The author comes to a conclusion about the necessity of psychological support of this process, as otherwise there is a kind of “parallelism” of values that reduces the effectiveness of professional self-determination of a future teacher’s personality.
