The paper interprets the results of the research on pedagogical knowledge of teachers
at higher medical school, analyses the problems of these specialists in organising future doctors’ clinical education, and determines the level of formedness of this knowledge. In the author’s opinion, pedagogical knowledge is one of the conditions of a teacher’s discursive successfulness at higher medical school in a teacher community and an indicator of his/her professional pedagogical competence.
