The notion of “children” in Chinese philosophy and pedagogy

 The article focuses on the main approaches to understanding the “children” notion in
China. The author defines the historical development stages and presents modern views of the famous Chinese teacher Yu Ion Ping on children’s education in China. Even though China has ancient history and rich culture, the notion of “children” and modern concepts formed as result of rethinking of theoretical foundations embodied in world philosophy, literature and pedagogy.
