Ethno-cultural aspect of lie in situations of social interaction

 The range of the ethno-cultural factor’s influence on socio-psychological characteristics
and behaviour of a personality involves many aspects, including his/her understanding
and realisation of a lie told to other people. The results of this investigation indicate the
general trends and specific attitude to lie and its manifestations in relation to different
groups of referents, inherent in representatives of certain ethnic groups. The psychological characteristics and situational-typological manifestations of lie are considered in the paper according to its dynamic characteristics.
