Imagery in the Contemporary Chinese Environmental Art

Liao Duma
Price: 50 руб.
Emotional, moral, personal and spiritual crisis of modern society fi rst and foremost touches the sensitive hearts of poets and other artists. The most acute contradiction of the current industrial culture of modern China is not even the fact that in the modern anthropogenic environment the man is opposed to nature, nor it is in the fact that a close relationship between man and nature, which existed for thousands of years in
traditional society, has been destroyed. Rather, the author emphasizes that the most important factor is that the cold calculation and frenetic consumerism of this cultural type have almost completely overshadowed the human senses. When people begin to feel the indifference and threat, they come to yearn for the feelings brought upon them by thatched houses and pavilions at the water. When we praise fi elds and pastures full of
harvest or the grass waving in the wind, the most impressive thing is the naturalness, which these landscapes are so full of.
Keywords: environ mental painting, landscape painting, environmental art.
