The article is devoted to consideration of the substantive content of students’ legal
culture in educational institutions of higher education. It is stated that the structure of
the legal culture of a student’s personality consists of three components: cognitive,
motivational-axiological, and regulative components, which provide legal and moral
self-determination of an individual, reinforcing his/her social maturity. The authors come
to the conclusion that the basis of students’ legal culture formation is legal nurturing
and legal education, whose symbiosis provides necessary preconditions for the full
development of an individual.
