This article is dedicated to studying the infl uence of the stiffness frame on dynamics and stability of a light commercial vehicle. Studies were conducted by simulation using ADAMS/CAR software package. The model was validated by comparing the results of the simulation and real tests. The objects of the studies were 4 different models of a vehicle having different parameters of frame rigidity. The research included the following tests: “going into corner”, “lane change” and “tilt test”. The results showed that a car with a rigid frame has better handling properties.
