The formation of universal educational activities is one of the main tasks of a teacher in
the learning process. To be successful in this process, a teacher should have an understanding of personal qualities of each student. A teacher should carefully study psychological and pedagogical features of students’ age groups and individual social groups. The psychological and pedagogical foundation for the work on universal educational activities at geography lessons at senior school is described in the article.
