The paper is devoted to the formation of lexical skills of primary and middle school
children. The paper presents the Begames exercise complex based on situational games. The author relies on the theory and practice in solving this problem and looks for her own techniques and methods. The main attention is paid to the necessity to use this approach in teaching a foreign language to primary and middle school children. This exercise complex was created because of the need to increase the motivation in learning a foreign language. The proposed exercise complex got approval and showed its effiiency.
