STRUCTURAL AND CONTENT FEATURES OF EARLY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF PERSONS WHO COMMITTED PARTICULARLY SERIOUS CRIMES

 The paper presents the structural and content features of early childhood memories of
persons who committed particularly serious crimes. The comparative study revealed that
criminals’ memories are characterised by such features as: the narrator’s dissociated position, expansion of the “psychological space” of memories, theme of “risky behaviour”
associated with unconscious self-aggression, themes of death and punishment, ambivalence, lack of social emotions, inner conflct of the needs and motivation sphere, low social interest.
Key words: early childhood memories, structure and content of the memories, prerequisites for the formation of a criminal lifestyle.
