The article deals with the features of constructing a modern foreign language lesson as part of the transition to the new Federal State Educational Standard. The concept of “a flw chart of a foreign language lesson” is given and the content component of the issue is justifid. The basic stages of drawing up a flw chat of a foreign language lesson are worked out taking into account the results of monitoring the quality of foreign language education and identifid problem filds in professional work of teachers of foreign languages.
