 The paper analyses the dynamics of the profession-oriented motivation of students
studying according to the federal educational standards of higher education. Based on the longitudinal study conducted at the Kaluga branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the author makes conclusions about the specifiity of students’ profession-oriented motivation in the enlarged group of
“Economics and Management” specialties and peculiarities of its development at the
initial stage of vocational training.
