THE ORIGINS AND MAIN STAGES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONSTRUCTIVIST THEORY

 The grounds of the constructivist theory methodology is considered in the article based
on the experience, analysis, research and publications, including Russian and foreign
scientists. The author suggests a number of classifications of basic scientific ideas and
trends. On the basis of theoretical and empirical research, the author identifies and
substantiates the theory of the constructivist theory, aimed at a personality’s development and role transforming the world, at the present stage of development of science, society and technology. The article lists the principles of the theory, its features and applications. The author defines the essence of the key concepts of “constructivity”, “constructive personality”, “constructive activity”, “constructive skills”, “constructivist theory”, “constructive approach”.
